Planning for an expedition can be a very time-consuming process. Fortunately, planning and project management are strengths of mine! I’d like to share with you some strategies for planning an expedition that have worked for me. My first expedition was to climb Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside the Himalayas, December 2015 to January 2016. I did this with two girl friends, thus we were an all-female, self-propelled team. We called ourselves “Girls and Mountains” – we’re not too active at the moment but visit our website to learn more: www.girlsandmountains.ca.

My next expedition will be to climb Denali, the highest peak in North America. The dates and team for this have not yet been confirmed but my researching is underway, so I can share with you what I know so far. 🙂
My posts will be organized into two categories:
Planning – useful info no matter the destination
Locations – useful info for specific locations, in this case for Aconcagua and Denali.
